Mountain Goat Mountain - the internationally acclaimed audio-theatre adventure is now available for schools!

'Mountain Goat Mountain' is an interactive and immersive audio narrative with a richly detailed soundscape that casts you and your students as both the actors and the audience!

Through 5 immersive episodes, that are framed by Drama cross-curricular learning opportunities students can work together to uncover the secrets of the Mountain, and discover the hidden treasures in each other.

There is a place, a mysterious and magical place called, Mountain Goat Mountain.

It has been said that Mountain Goat Mountain is home to a creature, but no one is certain the creature exists!

What is known for sure, is that Mountain Goat Mountain is a mountain layered with caves, rainforests, and rivers which are filled with spectacular fireflies, darting geckos and cheeky moray eels, making the adventure to find the creature thrilling and totally unexpected!

‘Mountain Goat Mountain’ is made up of a series of sound cues that will guide your classroom through an embodied exploration of the Mountain!

Created by theatre makers, ‘Mountain Goat Mountain’ places children in the centre of the action. The immersive soundscape provides a sturdy base for collective imagining and structured play.

With a detailed and flexible study guide created by Melissa Newton-Turner that links directly to The Australian Curriculum Version 9.0. This embodied learning experience is designed to enhance and complement what you are already doing in the classroom with your students as you venture up ‘Mountain Goat Mountain’.

We know sometimes getting to the theatre can be a little tricky - so when we created “Mountain Goat Mountain”, we set out to create a theatrical experience in people’s homes.

Now, we’re thrilled to be able to share this magical story with students and teachers in classrooms, who face even more barriers to getting to the theatre!
