an audio-theatre adventure for your classroom!

Below you will find the links to each episode of ‘Mountain Goat Mountain’ with the corresponding educational resources for Year 3 students.

We know, you know your class better than anyone else, so we invite you to begin exploring the different episodes, and charting your own path through the cross-curricular learning opportunities.

Depending on the make up of your class, you can explore the Mountain with as a whole class group, or you might like to break into smaller parties of adventurers all listening to the audio at the same time.

After completing Episode 1, you will need to create a Mountain Creature together - the link to the suggestions about how to do that is below, or you will also find it in the post show response section.

We hope you enjoy your time together on the Mountain, just remember - you can pause, rewind and replay at any point along the journey!

  • A class of adventurers.

  • A charged audio device (computer, phone or tablet) that is connected to wifi and a speaker - you’ll want to be able to play the audio nice and loud.

  • A hint of a costume suitable for going on an adventure! It could be yours and your students’ sun hats, something from the costume box or something brought from home.

  • One large, long piece of paper, for example butcher’s paper to draw your Mountain Creature.

  • Pens/coloured pencils.

  • A large piece of fabric like a sheet (one for every 6 - 8 children in your class) OR a parachute always works well for larger groups.

  • Printouts of the supplied Adventure Journal for each student if you plan on using them!
